  7. This agreement gives you, the customer, certain benefits, rights, and 
  8. obligations.

  10. By using the software, you indicate that you have read, understood, and will 
  11. comply with the following terms.

  13.              Terms of Agreement:

  15. 1. McGraw-Hill licenses and authorizes you to use the software specified below 
  16. only on a microcomputer located within your own facilities.
  17.  
  18. 2. You will abide by the Copyright Law of the United States. The law provides 
  19. you with the right to make only one back-up copy. It prohibits you from making 
  20. any additional copies, except as expressly provided by McGraw-Hill.  In the 
  21. event that the software is protected against copying in such a way that it 
  22. cannot be duplicated, McGraw-Hill will provide you with one back-up copy at 
  23. minimal cost or no charge.

  25. 3. You will not prepare derivative works based on the software because that is 
  26. also not permitted under Copyright Law. For example, you cannot prepare an 
  27. alternative hardware version or format based on the existing software.

  29. 4. If you have a problem with the operation of our software or believe it is 
  30. defective, contact your nearest McGraw-Hill Book Company office about securing a 
  31. replacement. We cannot, however, offer free replacement of CD-ROMs damaged 
  32. through normal wear and tear, or lost while in your possession. Nor does McGraw-
  33. Hill warrant that the software will satisfy your requirements, that the 
  34. operation of the software will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that program 
  35. defects in the software can be corrected. Except as described in this agreement, 
  36. software and CD-ROMs are distributed "as is" without warranties of any kind, 
  37. either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of 
  38. merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose or use.

  41. you have purchased.  Consult the support material that comes with the program

  54. * 4x (or better) CD-ROM drive

  69. QuickTime is required to run the program. A version of QuickTime has been 
  70. included on the CD for your use. Click on the installer and follow the on screen 
  71. prompts.

  74. Installation and Setup:

  76. Starting the CD-ROM

  78. Windows:

  80. 1. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive
  81. 2. Double click on My Computer on your desktop
  82. 3. Double click on the CD-ROM drive, most commonly called the D:/ drive.
  83. 4. Double click on the Start_pc.exe file from the CD-ROM.

  87. 1. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive
  88. 2. Double click on the " Art Fundamentals " CD-ROM
  89. 3. Double click on the Start_Here file from the CD-ROM
  90.
